Colorados sports wagering earnings climbed by 9.1% in July compared to the prior month, with total bets also increasing considerably by 55.4%, according to figures released by the Colorado Department of Revenue.

Colorados sports wagering earnings and total bets both observed a rise in July
Colorados sports wagering earnings climbed by 9.1% in July compared to the prior month, with total bets also increasing considerably by 55.4%, according to figures released by the Colorado Department of Revenue.
Sports wagering earnings in July were $2.4 million (£1.8 million/€2 million), up from $2.2 million the prior month, as the market continues to expand since officially launching in May this year.
Online was the main source of earnings for the state’s licensed operators, with the channel generating $2.3 million, while retail sports wagering brought in just $164,238.
In terms of player spending, the state’s total bets in July were $59.2 million, up from $38.1 million in June, with players winning a total of $53.6 million.
Players wagered $58.6 million through online sports wagering platforms in July, far exceeding the $582,815 spent at retail locations.
