In the period ending March 31st, Lithuanias total gambling earnings reached €55.3 million (£48 million/$59.7 million), reflecting a 26.1% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
Of this total, approximately €36.6 million originated from online gambling, marking a 36.0% year-on-year growth. The majority of this revenue stemmed from online A-class slot machines, generating €23.1 million in earnings from €306.8 million in player wagers.
Consumers placed €6.3 million in bets on B-class slot machines, yielding €979,987 in revenue.
Lithuanias remote sports betting revenue reached €9.6 million, with players wagering €151.2 million, while online table game activity generated €2.9 million in revenue from €31.3 million in spending during the quarter.
Shifting to brick-and-mortar gambling, revenue climbed by 10.0% to €18.7 million. B-class slot machines were the primary revenue source, with players wagering €50.7 million and generating €8 million in revenue.
A-class slot machine revenue generated €3.8 million from €15.8 million in bets, table game revenue generated €4.4 million from €20.3 million, and sports betting revenue generated €2.5 million from €29.8 million.
Lottery outcomes are disclosed separately, and the quarter witnessed a 9.0% increase in gross gambling revenue from lottery activities to €14.3 million. This occurred despite a 2.9% decline in lottery sales to 26.5 million tickets.
