A prominent gaming corporation has pledged a substantial $500,000 contribution to the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), a charitable institution committed to fostering Native American participation in STEM fields. This company, a renowned creator in the casino gaming sector, made this pledge to bolster AISES’s objective of expanding academic and professional pathways for Indigenous pupils and experts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
This financial backing will aid various AISES initiatives, encompassing scholarships, apprenticeships, and the organization’s Indigenous STEM Education Resource (RISE) fund. The RISE fund is particularly dedicated to furnishing resources and prospects for those drawn to the gaming sector. This contribution will have a considerable effect on the trajectories of Native American learners seeking careers in STEM, including the 20 students presently aided by AISES scholarships within the realm of casino gaming.
Past their first contribution, Aristocrat Gaming has committed an additional $30,000 to back programs at the yearly AISES gathering.
