A premier lottery and gaming solutions provider, Scientific Games, has named Amy Steinman as its latest Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Steinman, a veteran HR leader with an impressive 25-year career at Koch Industries, will join the company’s senior leadership group.

In her new position, Steinman will manage all facets of HR for Scientific Games’ 3,000-person staff operating in 16 nations. Her vast background at Koch, which involved spearheading the assimilation of Infor, a multi-tenant SaaS enterprise, into the Koch holdings, will be essential as she molds the company’s worldwide HR approach.

Steinman’s duties will include vital domains like organizational structure, talent cultivation, and nurturing a cooperative international work environment. Her proficiency in directing business evolution and change implementation, especially in digital and process modernization, will be key in propelling Scientific Games’ expansion course.

Pat McHugh, Scientific Games’ Chief Executive Officer, conveyed his excitement regarding Steinman’s hiring, emphasizing her established history of constructing high-achieving global units and sector-specific operational frameworks. He stressed that her guidance will be critical in driving the company’s ongoing triumphs.

This news follows Scientific Games’ current broadening of its alliance with the Kansas Lottery to deliver its instant game administration system, indicating a phase of vigorous growth and advancement for the organization.

This contract represents a significant victory for Scientific Games, encompassing a comprehensive range of services that extend beyond traditional lottery operations. The agreement includes assisting the Kansas Lottery in managing its investment holdings, developing game strategies, analyzing data to enhance sales, optimizing logistics, licensing its brand, and even supporting retail and marketing initiatives.

Furthermore, Scientific Games will implement its advanced SCiQ retail system to ensure a consistent supply of instant-win tickets at authorized retailers throughout Kansas. This collaboration is set for an initial duration of five years, with the possibility of a five-year extension if deemed successful.

In a testament to its enduring partnerships, Scientific Games also recently extended its agreement with the New York Lottery, a relationship spanning nearly five decades. The company will maintain its role as the primary provider of instant-win tickets for the state.
